When I first started blogging I would stay up until midnight to post my article for the “next day” on Chic and Charming. After a while I discovered that I could cheat the system by changing the post date and time for my post so that the post just looked like it had been posted on whatever day I chose. Last night I discovered that blogger had closed my loop hole…well kind of. Now, when you date your post for a time in the future, blogger holds the post and will automatically post it for you at the desired time. This kind of kicks butt, because now you could write a whole series of posts over the weekend and then date them such that they automatically posted themselves throughout the week.

HOW TO: When you have finished writing your post, look for the “post options” link beside the labels field. Click the post options link and new fields will appear, including post date and time. Enter whatever date and time you desire and click “publish post.” You should get a message across the top of the screen letting you know the post will be published at a later time.
