I rarely click through on excerpted posts, in fact I’ve unsubscribed to blogs that use excerpts.

Why did you start blogging?
I have been interested in fashion since I got my first pair of shoes. Since graduation, I have been working in non-profit and government public relations and I needed a way to keep up with my love of fashion and PR. My goal is to work for Vogue or one of the fashion/beauty magazines so blogging is a way to sharpen my skills.

What do you blog about?
All sorts of things that inspires me from all around.Especially those found on world wide web

What is your goal as a blogger?
To eventually have a large enough readership that I can make money from advertising. I have already gotten so many great opportunities! I got to fly to Palm Beach and meet Milly designer Michelle Smith courtesy of the Palm Beach Junior league, meet new people, like Reagan and Emmy from Southern Proper or super cute jewlery designer Krystal Sasso, and I have even had a few job offers for my graphic design company!

As a creative release.

Why did you start blogging?
I’ve been blogging for ages. Boredom at first, probably. Now, I see it as a way of plonking my thoughts out there for random people to read, comment on and disagree with. I like the conversation aspect of blogs.

What advice would you offer to other bloggers?
Keep writing. Even if you have nothing interesting to say, I’m sure you’ll express that sentiment in a way noone else could.

I found it really difficult to find plurk friends when I first joined. Dosh Dosh has started a thread for people who want to find new plurk friends. I found about thirty new friends in ten minutes…it is a great way to get started!

Recently I joined Plurk, a social media network which is quite similar to Twitter, a site I have been using for about a month. While Plurk has many cool features and many fewer technical issues (right now), I don’t think I will be trading in Twitter just yet.
