Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging three years ago when I moved to NYC from Chicago on a whim. Given the fact I had only been to New York a few times before, I was completely overwhelmed by the city. I knew virtually no one having left all of my friends and family back in the Midwest so I started as a way of documenting fun and interesting experiences along the way. I started documenting “what I want now” lists and before I knew it my online space turned into a full fledged fashion blog.

What advice would you offer to other bloggers?
There is nothing worse than a cluttered blog with terrible music.

Why did you start blogging?
I moved from Kentucky to California almost six years ago and wanted a way to let my friends and family back east see what I was up to.
Since then it has become a way for me to let my writing bug get out and fly and a place to show off some of my craftiness. But it is still mostly a way to keep in touch with those I care about…old and new!

What advice would you offer to other bloggers?
Have fun writing your blog, make it yours, and readers will be attracted to your enthusiasm!

Why did you start blogging?
I have a lot of interests and I felt that a blog would be the best platform to display them. I guess you can say my blog is a scrapbook of my life.

Help dear readers! What would you do if someone asked you to remove a possibly slanderous comment from your blog?

What advice would you offer to other bloggers?
Don’t censor yourself. If you feel a certain way and are passionate about something, let your voice be heard. And enjoy it.

Why did you start blogging?
I own a website for parents on Long Island (NY) called LIParentSource.com. We are very connected to our parenting community here on Long Island and have worked with various media companies on bringing their products forward. In April, I was invited to a “mommy blogger weekend” at Disney World with 20 of the most fabulous mommy bloggers/writers. I was inspired from this weekend to start my own blog, in addition to running my website.
